This is our single rod, locking fly rod carrier system. You'll receive the 3D printed locking reel box, and an aero nose cone in matching color. You supply the tube.
The single carriers are offered in two different versions:
Original
Designed to work with 2" Schedule 80 PVC Conduit. If you're planning on building a half-length system, or if you have a rack that can support a full-length pipe through most of its length, this is the most affordable way to go. PVC can be a bit floppy in big cantilevers.
Deluxe - EMT
This is our newer design, and the real sweet spot. It's designed around 1.5" EMT steel conduit available at any home improvement store for around $40. EMT has a smaller profile and is far more rigid than PVC. To protect your rod inside the metal tube, there's an integrated PET braided sleeve that cradles your rod. The Deluxe kit is supplied with an epoxy packet to bond the plastic components to the metal conduit, and a T-10 driver to allow for the removal and reinstallation of the sleeve if needed.
Whichever you choose, the tube you need can be purchased at most any home improvement store, and assembly takes just a couple of minutes.
