I wanted a mount on my Blacktip for a compass and a computer.The “kayak compass” solution most people opt for seemed janky, and as someone that doesn’t want a computer on my wrist while I’m diving it was a pain to pull up my console to check depth and bottom time regularly.
I designed this to mount to the Blacktip’s handle system.It allows you to mount a “hose mount” style compass at the rear, and has a faux wrist in front you can strap a computer to.I’ve got several friends using these now and they all love them.
They're 3D printed in Glass Reinforced PET. Light, stiff, and strong. You can see in one of the photos that I'm lifting the whole scooter (with batts) from the far extreme end of the mount.
To install, slide off the rubber grip from the handle, and place the small clamp piece over the bar. Assemble the other two pieces (it should be obvious how they go together) and screw together using the supplied screws. Then just slide the grip back on.
